(MARLOW) Ralph Joe McAnulty, 75, of Marlow, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Marlow Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Marlow Cemetery, with the family hosting lunch for visitors in the church’s fellowship hall after the service. Visitation will be held before the service on Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Mr. McAnulty, a farmer and truck driver, was born on June 9, 1948, in Cameron to Felton Burns McAnulty
and Mary Ann (Hubnik) McAnulty. He married Nan McClaren on March 8, 1980. Ralph graduated from
C.H. Yoe High School in 1966 and embarked on a long career in farming and trucking that spanned more
than 55 years. He found joy in driving, perhaps because it provided him with time to call family and
friends or listen to baseball on the radio. In addition to his passion for trucking, he also had a love for
farming. Alongside his wife Nan, they restored Nan’s family farm in Marlow to working condition and
raised cattle and hay. Ralph was highly regarded in the local community for custom hay baling, and he
took great pleasure in each and every interaction with his customers.
Of all his roles, Ralph most cherished that of father and grandfather. He took great pleasure in sharing his
love of the farm with his grandchildren, Jack and Claire. His biggest smiles and hardest laughs came from
enjoying their antics, teaching them to drive a tractor, introducing them to newly born kid goats, or
exploring the farm he labored over.
Although Ralph's passing came too soon, his impact on the community will endure for years to come. He
embodied the qualities of a humble servant, never too busy to answer a call or lend a helping hand.
Whether assisting his family, serving at the church or cemetery, aiding a neighbor, or lending support to
someone he had just met, Ralph exemplified a heart dedicated to serving others.
He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, John McAnulty. He is survived by:
Wife: Nan McAnulty of Marlow Daughter: Jeni Webb & husband Andrew of Dallas

(ROGERS) Garry Michael Bartek passed away in Dallas, Texas on March 25th, 2024, after a long courageous battle with AML Leukemia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Saturday March 30th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton Texas, burial to follow at Reeds Lake Cemetery, Rogers, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, March 29th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home.

Garry Michael Bartek was born July 31st, 1968, in Temple Texas to Edward Richard and Lanita Faye Hayes Bartek.

Garry received his Bachelor's degree from UMHB. and a Master's degree in Education from Tarleton State University.

Garry’s love was teaching, he taught junior high school and high school math for 27 years until he retired, and he could not stay away from teaching, so he went back to teaching special needs elementary children. He was lucky because he was able to combine his favorite hobby with teaching the kids. He bred and raised show rabbits, so while he was doing his thing, he taught the kids to do it as well. He was also a member of the Texas Rabbit Breeders association. He did all that and still found time to import roses from all over the world and grow them. Garry had an amazing green thumb when it came to roses. Garry also had a natural talent for making people laugh, even when they didn’t want to.

Garry is survived by his parents Edward and Lanita, his sister Deandra Bowling, a special nephew Bryce Bowling and Bryce’s fiancé Kate Gordon.
